For their holiday issue, Elle UK created a modern fairy tale shoot and commissioned prominent authors Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie (author of Americanah), Kate Mosse (Labyrinth), Audrey Niffenegger (The Time Traveler's Wife), and Fay Weldon to write short stories related to some of the images.
